Movement II: Eos (midi realization)
In Greek Mythology, Eos if the goddess of dawn, rising from the ocean each day. The first movement, Lost in the Predawn Mist, is set just before the arrival of Eos in the morning. There is an aura of promise, expectancy, and even apprehension of the possibilities in the new day about to come. The movement ends just as dawn is about to break the horizon.
In the second movement, Eos has arrived, and the vigor of life is in full swing. The quiet contemplative anticipation before dawn has no place or time in the bustle of the morning.
