In composing Pierced Frost, I was inspired by the sounds of the natural, open landscape, and the quiet that occurs in winter. When sitting in that quiet, the mind can freely explore itself, undistributed by the distractions that normally affect us. Pierced Frost is a trip into that mind, running through a myriad of thoughts, ideas, and emotions uninterrupted by the diversions we have in our day-to-day lives.
